According to the consultancy NetApplications, Android was the operating system that grew among the top percentage of the market. While the iOS Apple rose about 130%, the Android rival Google saw an increase of 400% awesome.
In the last twelve months analyzed by the consultancy, Windows fell from 91.30% to 89.58% use Mac system and remained practically stable with 5.25% of connected devices using this system.
I believe this research is done with data from computers connected to the internet, which does not account correctly for users of Windows server operating systems, Unix, Linux. But with research you can see that Android is gaining ground every month, showing no tendency to stabilize or fall. That is, it is quite possible that soon, the Android is the dominant operating system in mobile phones and tablets.
The great advantage of Android over competitors is the fact of their greater openness regarding the apparatus and the community of developers and fans of this platform officially launched on October 22, 2008 in HTC Dream.
I confess that I am an enthusiast of the innovations that Google provides to the public. The Android system, which was acquired by the company Google in July 2005, is clearly proving a success despite the attempt to discredit him claiming it to be fragmented and often unsafe. However, the broad adoption and the constant evolution of the system prove that the public likes and wants to continue using it.
I have a device with Android and I am extremely satisfied. The integration with the contacts, email and Google Calendar were the main attractions. Still, the plethora of free apps, ease of use of the device and the beauty of the presentation screens and settings, are points that motivate the user to use and take advantage of all available resources.
Before buying an Android or other mobile device, do not forget to set their own criteria for acquisition. The most important is that the device is your guy.
The latest survey released by NetApplications shows that the growing trend of using the browser company's Google continues to boom. For all other browsers surveyed, Chrome is still in frank expansion.
See the numbers below:
As I always say around here, Chrome is still my choice. After the release of new version of Firefox and the promises of IE10 to get a little excited to use them but always end up disappointing me. The concepts that led to the construction of these browsers is very different from the goal that permeated the creation of Chrome.
Chrome was designed to not interfere with navigation, or facilitate access to the page and its contents. The browser has to be seamless and contribute in a simple and intelligent navigation. Other browsers are of a generation ago, where the browser was a "software" and therefore had many features, options, unnecessary frills.
Thus, Chrome is a stable option, quick and clean to navigate. Everyone tries to imitate, but the speed and flexibility with which changes occur in Chrome are hard to reproduce in other browsers. Congratulations to Google and they continue at this speed and always with innovations.
Several videos were released on this disaster in Japan on March 11, 2011. However, no video is scarier than this, where a multitude of water invades and destroys Kesenuma city from the harbor to land within a few miles.
With the total popularization of personal computers and laptops, not everyone who can afford to buy the very famous Microsoft Office. So why not try a free alternative, every day, are getting better and leave very little to be desired.
In Brazil OpenOffice can be recognized as Br-Office. If you've used it, know what I'm talking about. It is very similar to early versions of MS Word and has virtually all the essential features to edit and view documents (Word style), spreadsheets (Excel style) and presentations (PowerPoint style).
The BR-Office can be installed on computers running the Linux operating system, Windows or Mac OS X.
The Office suite of applications Google is the best alternative for those looking for work on the internet. That is, you need not install anything on your machine, except a browser. You only need a Google account and internet connection. Google Docs has a number of limitations with respect to MS Office or OpenOffice, but it has many advantages such as easy sharing of documents with their friends, family. Another major advantage is that your documents are stored in the "cloud", ie do not run the risk of losing them if you have problems with your computer.
One of the interesting things in the Google Docs is the import and export documents directly from your computer.
The staff of Google still remembers the Wave and its ability to facilitate communication. The new feature in Google Docs Dicussions reminds me much the kind of conversation that the inventors have designed the Wave. It is a collective conversation, complete with identification (photo, hours), and centralized, ie, there are several emails that come and go on the same subject.
I feel that Google Docs is still very little used in spite of the enormous variety of possibilities it offers, such as sharing, formatting, recording in various file formats and work offline.
Still, I use it whenever I can and encourage all my acquaintances and readers to use it.
