My first visit to Second Life
This weekend, I finally got a computer that supports navigate the world of Second Life . That's right! It is a world accessible only to computers with processing in a reasonable minimum and more than 512 MB of memory. That is, not yet accessible to everyone.
Good, achieved the minimum configuration, I created my character: Ricardoh Alexander. The name Alexander was one of the possible selection of surnames. As I did not pay to enter Second Life, I had to choose one.
Upon arrival in Second Life, we have a sense of where I am? what to do? You could not be different because you're thrown into an unknown world, where everything has to be learned.
What were my first steps? I started trying to push the arrow keys to walk. Potato! It worked! With the arrows gives to go exploring the new world. And where to go? As there was not much to go, I began to explore the commands. What was most useful at the outset has been the search. With it I was just searching for the two islands that I knew exisitiam for Brazilians in SL. The Island Brazil and recently opened Berrini Island.
The first was that I entered the island Berrini. Well, not absoltuamente was nobody there, just a few buildings, I think also Fecomercio and some luxury cars on site.
Then I went to the Island Brazil. This is but a little more hectic. I even go through the headquarters of the PSDB there. Many people there, and some dancing in a building. I think I danced to earn some Linden Dollars, the money of this world.
I talked with some people and I soon learned some lessons:
- To make money, you can search for Camping, which are places that pay you to generate on-site audience. That is, just be on site to start earning a quick buck;
- Talk to people, but do not make dozens of questions. Ask a question for each one if possible and make friends;
- Do not buy anything from strangers. There are places that can be encotrados the word Freebie, where you can get for free objects (purchase for $ 0.00 L).
I think for a first visit I managed to learn a lot. I'll be back later with more experience.
