How to know the number of subscribers from Google Reader

I just understand how it is possible to know the number of subscribers who use Google Reader and subscribe to my blog.

It is very simple. If you have access to the access logs of your server, open it and look for lines like this:

  72.14.199.74 - - [23/Feb/2007: 01:01:29 -0800] "GET / blog / feed / HTTP/1.1" 200 299 "-"
  "Feedfetcher-Google; (+ http://www.google.com/feedfetcher.html; 2 subscribers;
  feed-id = 191169161854294060) "

Thus, you can see there is an identifier for the feed-id 191169161854294060. The number of different feed-id that you find in the archives access to your site / blog is the number of users who subscribe to your feed via Google Reader.

Simple as that.
